At Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary, adoption is not about finding animals somewhere to go.

It’s about finding them the right place, where they will be safe, respected, and cared for for the rest of their lives.

Rehoming allows us to rescue more animals in urgent need, but it is only ever done when it is in the animal’s best interest.

We don’t currently have any animals available for adoption, but please check back soon for updates.

What We Look for in an Adoptive Home

    Space, shelter, companionship, and the right setup for the species.

    Animals are not entertainment. They have boundaries, preferences, and needs.

The Adoption Process

Our process is designed to protect everyone involved, especially the animals.

  1. Submit an adoption interest form

  2. We review your details carefully

  3. We contact you to discuss suitability

  4. A home check may be arranged

  5. If approved, adoption is planned slowly and thoughtfully

Please understand:
Not every application can be successful, and that decision is always made with the animal’s welfare at heart.

Important Things to Know

  • Adoption is not first-come, first-served

  • We may say no if a home isn’t the right fit

  • Some animals require experienced homes

  • We prioritise calm, safe, and stable environments

  • Rehoming support doesn’t end at adoption

These boundaries keep animals safe.
